Jigsaw Ministries - Wednesday 3rd June
We have a special presentation by Tim & Kate Lee of Jigsaw Ministries which is a Christian child development ministry working to improve and develop the lives of children and young people living in extreme need and hardship in depressed, temporary shelter and street communities in Metro Manila and Angeles City Philippines. Jigsaw's mission is founded on sharing Gods love in practical and strategic ways to respond to needs, build up and develop children's and young peoples lives in Faith, Hope, Love and wellbeing and to advocate and work for safety, justice and children's rights. Starts 7:30pm
Celebrating 400 Years Of God's Grace
2026 sees Haven Church celebrate 400 years of continuous Christian worship by Independent Christians in Gorran Haven. From humble beginnings along with some Mevagissey fishermen meeting in a cave just after Charles I was crowned to the present chapel that was built in 1863 on a plot of land just off Church Street that was purchased for £15, the worshippers at Haven Church have maintained their desire to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ with their local community. The village has changed, the church building has seen several major renovations (the last in 2016), but the Bible and its message never changes. Haven Church is the oldest independent church in Cornwall.
